Title: Left Behind
Pairing: Seifer/Squall
Rating: PG-13
The Commander no longer uses his gunblade. Two plain weapon caskets adorn the wall behind his chair, one for Lionheart and one for Hyperion. Selphie swears that he's lost his marbles, that he talks to Lionheart when he thinks nobody can hear him. But then, Selphie says a lot of things.
And it's the same Selphie who, when Seifer said that he might as well die in a fire if he ever lost Lionheart, casually commented "do you really want to see him that much?"
Seifer looked at her and smiled, green eyes almost happy.
"I'll see him soon enough."
