Carmen coming to MET in September
When I was in high school, I got my hands on a set of CDs called Opera for People Who Hate Opera. And like Les Mis was my first love for musicals, Carmen was my first love for opera. So I'm definitely going to catch it this coming season! (This current season I already missed Madame Butterfly due to my travel schedule....)
Completely unrelated but: I got a ticket reservation for Colbert Report's taping on the 19th! I am probably going to go, as long as the weather isn't too bad. I heard single parties get great seats so I'm quite excited. Hopefully the guest of the day will be really interesting! :D
