every story is a love story

When Ivory referred S&S as "the couple that lives and breathes sex", I was amused but didn't entirely agree. Their relationship, of course, wasn't built upon that (it was built upon beating each other and everybody else up, but that's a different story).

As I try to write more S&S, however, the very real physical need they have for each other surprised me. Very few couples I've shipped fit together like they do. Equal in every way, with an absolute convinction that the other is the one (because that's the only way they would be together...to go from what they have to a couple, anything less would be unthinkable). Liberali fatali, indeed.

I'd say it's almost as if they wouldn't stop gravitating towards on another until they are joined in every sense of the word. In a way it's like magneticism. Or, to borrow a line from Aida, every story is a love story.

然后来说darksquall的长篇《Hurt》。

“You’re the only regret I’ve ever had in my life.”

此文的中心思想之一是：弃妻跑路是要付出代价的。早就说过，同人里面的S&S如果离开了彼此就会死掉。但是自毁得这么有声有色面目全非的Squall……似乎还是头一次看见。

碎成一千片的Squall，遇见仍然爱着他的Seifer。于是就有了中心思想之二：Omnia vincit Amor (我实在没脸翻译成中文……).

整体看来是让人感觉很微妙的一篇文。两人对于彼此的感情，无可置疑。就算爱得不知道东南西北了也死命抓住主导权不放，也是真的。然后还有铺天盖地的H，情意绵绵得让我头昏眼花。到最后那两个人全然是又一次初恋了……

题外话：这位作者看名字是Squall命啊，怎么如此后妈……orz (不过说实话，也只有Squall命才忍心对自家下手吧……Seifer命看着他的官方结局心疼还来不及呢，怎么可能后妈。)
