What kind of way is that for a god to die?
Mar. 1st, 2012 06:19 pm"I just keep thinking about Thor. You never knew him. Big guy, like you. Good-hearted. Not bright, but he'd give you the goddamned shirt off his back if you asked him. And he killed himself. He put a gun in his mouth and blew his head off in Philadelphia in 1932. What kind of a way is that for a god to die?" (American Gods, chapter 13.)
iris242x and I decided to mix A Lost Paradise (a la WATANABE Junichi, not Milton) with Neil Gaiman's American Gods for the glory that is Thor & Loki. (And really, is there anything happier than having a trustworthy partner in crime?)
The only thing that concerns me is that the result is suppose to contain a lot of sex scenes. Well, that and it's set in 1932 Philadelphia. The latter I can fake-research. The former, not so much. (Upon re-reading A Lost Paradise, I realized that it really contained a lot, a lot of sex scenes...)
