Hahaha. I love how you wrote this and managed to make 3 out of these 5 about Jim, but still very different. Learning a few words in foreign language is always a winning move and will assuredly endear you to the natives of said language. I've travelled enough to verify that. As a successful pick-up line... mmm, I'm not quite sure, but seeing that a foreigner is making the effort to say something in my language will make me feel more receptive and at least give him a chance :-D I've probably laugh my ass off at anyone who tried the Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir? line, but a sincere Vous êtes très jolie("you are very pretty") would probably work. I think the fact it worked on Spock is both because he sees that for once Jim is in his right mind, and because he realizes Jim doesn't know he speaks French and that made the offer sexier, less of a jaded pick-up.
