I really must recommend no_detective's K/S Catholic story picspam, because it's all sorts of squeeing awesomeness.

Also by way of no_detective, I found this AMAZINGLY....$%R#&%#W%#$W# youtube video for Confession outtakes. From the 3rd minute in on that video is....CHRIS PINE TAKING OFF HIS SHIRT doing the whole seduction thing...ON A GUY. And the musical part from 3:50 is just adorable. IT MUST BE WATCHED!!!

I've always paid much attention to the difference between "Captain" and "Jim" in canon. In the AU there is no "Captain" so "James" is a substitute for that. Basically Spock only calls him Jim during the more personal, intimate moments.
