Sephiroth sat on the edge of the chair and dutifully chewed on a chocolate bar. Five feet to his left was Leonhart, carefully unwrapping lunch.
They ate in silence. Apart from Monday when a blond charged in brandishing a paper bag and yelling about the importance of eating, lunch breaks this week had been comfortably quiet. He didn’t mind sharing this hideout with Leonhart, after all.
"Where did you get that sandwich from?" Eventually Sephiroth asked in a spirit of camaraderie (and because, frankly, chocolate is not food no matter what Genesis says).
"Home."
"Oh…" Sephiroth frowned slightly, "you have time to make food every night?"
He noticed that Leonhart stopped eating for a second.
"No."
