冰炎：那也是明年的事情了。而今年，我觉得编剧在不遗余力的暗示明示弟弟是gay

蝴蝶：要命的是他这体质是天生的，他小时候也这样
冰炎：那个犯罪过程，强奸了自己的室友(性别男)，室友暴怒杀人。然后花生就跑了
蝴蝶：我目前的LJ朋友页飘着一篇JS春药文……你说我敢看么 = =
冰炎：SH这朵奇葩……我觉得，小时候的兄弟肯定很有趣
蝴蝶：是啊是啊！问题是，要怎么写得出来？他们小时候也仍然是ET啊！！！

The only word I know out of this is 'Sherlock!' but it still makes me excited because if I can read your mind, I bet you are another friend who saw the show and liked it a lot. Yay! :D

Yeah I liked it a lot! Sherlock and John are ADORABLE together. The thing is John has a girl... :( So I'm trying to see if Mycroft/Sherlock would work...who am I kidding it so would not.

Sarah was such a badass, wasn't she? She was fighting ninjas and generally being much cooler than I could have been in her place. I think if anyone can handle John/Sherlock/Danger, it's her. But I wonder if she plans to see him again, given their disastrous date. Did it bring them closer? Or was it a wake-up call that she should stay well away from John, since John won't (can't) stay away from Sherlock? John/Sherlock is definitely my chosen pairing, but I do see plausible scenarios in which, say, Sherlock is asexual and there is John/Sarah, and they all hang out together a lot. But I think John is really fascinated by (and will come to fancy) Sherlock, and of course reading/writing about an amazing crime-solving duo with awesome banter, UST, and 'domestics' is right appealing!

That's another thing...I've joined a Sherlock comm, and really I am open to Sherlock/John (or vice versa) as a pairing...but it seems to me good Sherlock fanfics would be difficult to write, as it would have to combine good detective-ness with Brit-ness... I love fluffy/domestic stories usually, but in this case it seems to be easy to go OOC?

Oh, I agree the characterization - particularly of Sherlock - is tricky. Even on his official blog, he comes off sometimes as a petulant but genius child. He's a hard nut to crack! But I've read some really lovely stuff, wading through the riffraff, and I'd be happy to give you a handful of fluff recs that also, imo, have great characterizations. Then you can decide for yourself if you think the writers are on the track or not. :D I haven't written anything serious yet, but I have been chatting nonstop about possible characterizations for the last few days, and I've come to some pleasant conclusions, at least for the moment. :)
