Time to panic yet?

Oh, Thanksgiving. The annual two-day company evaluation of a daughter-in-law, or something.
I really, REALLY need to write that
ksadvent fic. This is soooo not funny. And poor
aazaieaa is here, too. When the hell am I going to find the time to write it?? It's due....Sunday! And it's like, okay, I have this idea thanks to
aprilleigh24 and
verizonhorizon, but no beginning, no structure, no "ah-ha" moment. Nothing. And it would be totally wrong to write Kirk with girl!Spock in MU for Christmas. It so would.
So. Dear Friends List, how are you doing with the KSAdvent fic or whatever fic commitment you have for the season? (Yes, Joey Tribbiani accent included.)
It seems I always have too little or too much to do. No safe middle ground there. There MIGHT be a January trip coming up, but I'm quite ambivalent about it.

一个厨房菜鸟的自白
首先感谢四个女人让我逐渐开始近庖厨:我娘,荔枝,鸢尾,和伊零。我娘教给了我最最简单的基本功,荔枝让我意识到“喔真的有人天天给自己正儿八经做菜啊”(别问我为什么我两个厨艺绝佳的爹娘没让我发现这一点),而鸢尾和伊零让我意识到能给人做菜可以是件欢乐的事情。虽然目前的我还是最最最入门级别的菜鸟,不过有了进步还是很开心的。
最近因为牙齿问题,除了和伊零下了趟馆子,好久没开荤了。今天给软糖做了煎鸡胸脯肉当早餐。由于过程实在是非常简便快捷,特记录做法和懒人们分享:
煎鸡胸脯肉
一人份的原料:
鸡胸脯肉一块。超市里面的太厚,切对半。肉片大概大半个指头那么厚比较合适?
鸡蛋一个,打好。(我喜欢一边看电视一边打鸡蛋)
面粉若干。
盐若干。胡椒粉若干。
油若干。
鸡肉的一面抹盐巴和胡椒粉,浇蛋浆,上面粉。面粉稍微一层意思下就够。蛋浆横流也没关系。
烧热锅,下少许油,下鸡肉。
在没贴锅底的那面上浇蛋浆+上面粉。多的蛋浆混点面粉顺手倒锅里当炒鸡蛋。
一面煎好(面粉和蛋浆变金棕?)翻另外一面。可以暂时捞出来用刀子切开看里面熟没有。
片刻之后就可以起锅下稀饭吃。(话说我多久没吃干饭了啊………………)

If you don't, my MU sorta-gifts-of-the-Magi-ish first-time-they-EVER-had-consensual-sex (counts as fluff in the MU, right?) piece is going to be very, very lonely. And it's Christmas, so everybody deserves to have company! You don't want to leave my poor fic all alone, do you?
I started the piece yesterday, and (wonder of wonders) got into the sex without a massive 8000+ word prologue. I briefly debated on counting those 4,400 words as part of my NaNo total, but decided against it and then had two hours left in the day to write 1667 words of a different story. There are only five days left and I'm already a full day behind.
Time to panic? Maybe just a little.

i'm totally failing and i need beta it and i don't have one!

That's good but holy crap it makes me feel inadequate! D:
