I still haven't watched BBC Sherlock's S3. And from the looks of it, I won't ever get to S2 either.

I must admit that there is a distinct feeling of schadenfreude there—especially since I've developed less-than-charitable opinions towards Benedict Cumberbatch, and a definite dislike for Martin Freeman. Is it true that hate outlasts even love? I hope not, but as the song of songs says...for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

He talked trash about Johnny Lee Miller doing Elementary before it even aired.

"I did say, 'Well, I'd prefer you didn't do it, but you've got a kid to feed, a nice house in LA and a wife to keep in good clothes,'" Cumberbatch says. "When you get used to a certain standard of living and they waft a pay check at you, what are you going to do?"

He retracted that statement later after people went "wow you arrogant prick", but his clarification wasn't all that convincing and the news source which first reported didn't back down either.

Ah thanks! I agree with a lot of the points raised in this review. :) I'm glad the reviewer picked up the issue with both S1E2 and Irene.
