Miracle (Star Trek XI, Kirk/Spock)

This started out as a light-hearted fluff piece. Somehow it mutated, as they tend to do when they are in my hands. In any case, here is to the author who wrote a lot of the K/S that I had immensely enjoyed: t_hy_la's request in st_xi_kink fulfilled: At the end of the movie, Jim seriously looks like he's going to take off for space with no first officer until Spock comes and volunteers himself. I'd like to see some Jim's thoughts on how he knows, just knows, that Spock is coming. Thanks to dissociate for the beta.

In my travels I found these and decided to send them to you as a reminder of Earth. They are called four-leaf clovers and we believe that they bring luck to whoever has them.
The first leaf is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. Remember that all four leaves will be with you, no matter where you are.
