Sometimes I think I'm a bad person. Other times, I know.

Uh, still doing archiving at http://delicious.com/st_kink_ks. Over 1000 prompts now. Probably 1000+ to go. Part 1 is kind of done. Part 2 is except for 3 pages. Part 5 is up to date (as up as humanly possible.) Got to page 24 on Part 4 tonight before mentally throwing up. At least I've been discover some gems while going over the prompts. I've been meaning to get that rec list going since...uh, forever. Sigh.

Went over the translation of Because the Simple Fact is, Love is Never Discreet, a la le_culdesac, with Momo. Took literally hours. Translation itself is kind of a pain, especially with cultural nuances and what not, but re-reading that story is just so sweet. It made me squee all over again.

Laptop's battery died so L. assigned his to mine. Rin told me I'm The Laptop Killer. Sadly, it's true. I also recced a few English K/S fics to Rin. She thoroughlly enjoyed them.

But. I've been writing too much lately. And not reading enough. I generally can't bear to read a lot other people's work when I'm actively writing myself. This has not been a problem previously because, well, honestly I haven't actively written for any fandom in years. But as of now, this is kind of a problem, and I need to just take things slow.

In general, though, I probably should just stop writing for other people and go back to writing for myself. Be honest about what I want, what I can do, that sort of thing.

It's been raining in the afternoons, so my book-with-a-salad picnics have not been happening. I even got my Sherlock Holmes collection out today in the honor of the incoming movie, but it rained so persistently. I do like the rain, though, because I appreciate cool summers.

Is new chapter of Bleach gonna be out tomorrow? I sure hope so.

Way to make me melt. Thanks so much for doing that translation stuff! It sounds like so much work. I'm still trying to get my head around the logistics of it. Is there really a Chinese equivalent of "bite me"? Haha. My asian languages totally suck.

Summer sounds lovely at your end of the world. It's bloody freezing in Australia. I think I write better in cold weather though. (Illogical.)

There is a perfect translation in vernacular Chinese for "bite me". "Body shot" and "Tupperware party", though, not so much.

In fact, Momo first took "body shot" to be, uh, orgasm. I told her that I thought it's pretty physiologically impossible for a human to have 12 orgasms in 5 minutes, even if the said human is Kirk. The problem is I didn't know what a body shot is myself, since I don't drink. (Obviously, my college years have been so wasted.) I had to go to Wikipedia and find out, hah.
